backpack for my medic cosplay~!

it opens up so i can carry things with me easier :)

made from:

foam core paper, paper tube, fabric bolt tube, 2 detergent caps, cookie box, tea container lid, treseme shampoo bottle, wooden dowl, wire, large lid (not shown but on bottom), styrofoam (on the inside on the bottom, plastic bag (lining on the inside), electrical tape, hot glue, acrilic paint, silver car spray paint. clear gloss spray paint.

Reggaelator. made with alot of lose extension hair that i lovingly braided and wrapped the ends of with thick string, a black cap, white cotton that i markered black leaving the positive space as the design wich i coloured using markers, a wooden napkin ring painted using acrilics, and then its all sewed into place by hand :)

Pyro Gas Mask

made for a quick cosplay solution until i got my actual gas mask (wich i have now obtained)

This is a work in progress but here is what I have done for my tentaspy cosplay so far. 328 suckers, blue and white 'snake skin' satin, 40 meters of wire, LOTS of tulle (and plastic bags). swimwear fabric used to make the mask. I now need only my vest, tie and if i have time in the next few days before FanExpo i will make my webbed finger gloves and balisong.

of course i was inspired by lithe-fider.

honestly if you replaced the red shirt with a red dress shirt youd have it pretty darn impressive. i like how you went to the extent of getting proper shoes. wich is an aspect many cosplayers sadly look over. i guess i wont see you at FX though?

FC - I'm sorry I didn't comment sooner! I actually had been waiting for the final photos (it was hard to see much in the preview pic, then I forgot when Expo was) and came over here upon prompting from your Fanart thread. I'M SO HONORED to be an inspiration (I know of at least 2 other people working on tentaspies now too), fuck this is amazing! I love that texture on your fabric, also love the color, UNF. Though I think as it's satin it didn't sew/stuff as smoothly (is it stretch satin at all? Also maybe more stuffing would help), but you rock the look overall, damn son.

Also might I ask what you used on the suckers? It, to me, looks like those little cotton hair ties? CLEVER! It's a good look, they seem a bit small on the larger parts of the tentacles though. (I'm just nitpicking, It seriously looks amazing and I'll never complain to see more tentaspies around).

Thanks for the cred too as requested, much apprechiated. :) I hope to see some video of you in action in this, if you have it. Your legs really do vanish nicely, frickin' amazing work!

im so happy you finaly commented on this. ive been checking on it obsessively. and unfortunately its not a stretch satin and i didnt have enough tulle to stuff it as much as i would have liked. i plan on re-making these. im quite a fabric nazi (i work in a fabric store after all) so normaly i would never use satin but i decided to go about this with only 3 or so weeks to do it as well as other elaborate costumes. I liked the snakeskin kinda look to it so i just went with it. also yes those are hairties. another thing i would noramly never do. but unable to find the correct foam in time and cut out hundreds of suckers and airbrush them i had to do some last minute thinking. I plan to remake the whole bottom half (they got quite destroyed at the convention) and it was incredibly fun to wear.

god, i suck at making videos, seriously i don't know at all what i'm doing but it's all part of learning i guess.

My intel briefcase for my scout cosplay. the 2 papers below are on a string so they fly around behind me as i run. the intel has a strap on the other side that fits comfortably over the shoulder. it is openable and perfectly usable (quite convinient for shopping and carrying things around the con). the bad lighting makes the paper look yellow but i promise you it is white printer paper, and the intel is a nice bright red. pictures of my full BLU scout cosplay to come soon.
