Okay, so... I'm new here. So Imma just post this and squirm out of the way.

Keep in mind that this was done a while ago.
And I was bored.

... Might update with moar if the response is okay.

Sorry!

Meh. Some people on Tumblr will pillory you for not liking that pairing and defending it as the only true realistic canon pairing, but paradoxically, things seem to be a lot more "ship and let ship" here on the chan. Only a total douchebag would bawl at you about your shipping preferences in your own damn thread.

Aw, ok. I'm saddened, but there's always someone else who could draw it instead. Sorry to bother you.

Something old, now something new. Over vacation, I finally got myself drawing for the first time since, shit, last year. Some of it was TF2 related. TF2 and Fallout are two flavours that go great together, so here's Sniper all pimped up, post-apocalypse style.

Just wondering. Do you have a Tumblr or anything? Just curious to see what you're up to these days.
>> No. 6619
It's http://helpmejesus.tumblr.com This and the porn I posted in /afanart are the first I've drawn since last October. I didn't care to put all the TF2 art I've done on the chan, but if that's what you're after, it's at my y-gallery (my username there is "yaddie"). If you're curious in general, I've at least managed to write TF2 stories since I lost my mojo. They're here on the chan, fanfic.net ("yaddie" again) and y-gallery , and the completed ones are on my dumblr.

Haven't visited the Chan for a little while, mostly cause my writing ran dry with have ridiculous amounts of things to do lately.

One being selling at Fan Expo. Which there wasn't a lot of TF2 love going on there this year, which made me sad.
I was still in costume all Saturday though I AM A FAGGOT HUMP MY RUMP

And cause of that I have lots of left over stock of these, and not enough keys for them at all so I figured I'd post them here given the audience.

Yep, still love people tripping across that word filter. Just so ya know (and as you've been here before, like you said, you really should already know this), emoticons are heavily frowned upon here at best, and doing things like *action* is specifically against the rules.

That being said, holy crap these are adorable. I love that they're not just class icons, but bottle caps as well. Little bottle cap class keychains... Brilliant.

Thank you, and yeeeah bad habit really, but they're both something that almost become like second nature to me these days. But trip I did. It has been a while.

I also still do the leather ones too, which I've improved a lot on since first posting and selling them. As much as I love them, I've moved them to strictly 'made to order' items though because the hand-painting is killer for how long it takes.

Hi, I've been here for a while and this is my first time posting, wow... posting my digital drawings here and I would love to read from critiques and anybody to redline my artwork. Thanks!

I don't have a tablet hooked up to this computer, and my mouse is shit, so I can't give you a redline. I can say straight off that the spy's chest looks weirdly stiff, and the details like creases on the surface and his navel seem disconnected to the outline, almost arbitrary.

This thread- http://tf2chan.net/workshop/res/22.html -has loads of excellent reference material, for the human body in general as well as pictures of the TF2 characters. If you're in some kind of a mad rush, there's a torso here- http://tf2chan.net/workshop/src/128943991398.jpg - and some male body reference here- http://tf2chan.net/workshop/src/128923662825.jpg

Oh yes of course, I am familiar with the Artistic Help Thread but lately I have been ignoring that, I am mentally challenging myself to picture the anatomy but I guess an amateur like me isn't capable of doing that yet.

Not only I will draw TF2 but this will help me improve my drawing skills, still have room to improve. Also here's a BLU Scout portrait, hat and hatless :). I'm practicing facial expression and lighting/shading.

Thanks Obvious etc.

Dude, everyone has room to improve, always. It's not cheating to study anatomy, and you won't get better quicker by not looking at reference material for the human body. Shit, I got a degree in art, slacked off for a few years, and now I'm re-learning a bunch of stuff all over again. Learning is a continuous process, and suggesting you look at the reference thread wasn't meant as a put-down. It was common sense. Any artist who cares about realism will spend hour upon hour studying the human body.

I've been lurking for the past few years, and only started drawing TF2 pretty recently. I love all the great art the fandom brings. Though I'm pretty amateur, I felt like sharing some of my stuff here. Critique is very welcome. Actually, I should start a workshop thread too...

Let's start off with my favorite piece!

Small otp break for some Medic trembling enthusiastically over the prospect of gouging out bullets from his exposed flesh.

Apologies for this being kind of bad, it's actually the first time I'd drawn this sort of thing. I love the gunslinger but absolutely hate drawing it.

Is that meant to suggest the pencil sketch above is somehow a ripoff of the female medic picture? Because I've literally seen shitloads of pictures of Medic with his boots together, holding a saw up. Their poses aren't even that similar.
>> No. 6595
>>6592

OP went to workshop to practice their style.

Do you know how many pics there are of Medic in that pose? Just because it's the same pose doesn't mean it's a trace or ripoff.

I'm sorry, but it seems like you went searching for someone to be a dick to.

You can post fic in workshop, and it's occasionally encouraged that one do so.
I don't think the question is dumb.

Ok apparently, last time, the title "Messy Scoot Doodle" and "Don't Draw in the Dark" wasn't a good enough hint for someone as to why these are grainy pictures. Sorry, I don't own a $400 tablet or a scanner. I enhanced them a little in a photo editor, though, so hopefully I can justify putting them up here, now...?

Lighting issues aside, I'm really liking your facial expressions. Are you using reference at all?

Also, the best way to get an amazing scanner for cheap - find a Goodwill in a richer part of the city, and look for printer/scanner combos. I found mine for $16 though it was 50% off that day. I looked it up later to find out it was worth about $230.
>> No. 6560
Thanks. No references. Just kinda start with the eyes and goof off from there. Good idea about the Goodwill! I have one not too far from here (though I don't live in an expensive city). I'll go check it out. Thanks! :)

Oh wow my thread saged. That's never happened before.

Let's start this off with yet another medic. I'm learning how to not be a crappy medic so I drew my medic with my mentor. Because derp.
