Hey TF2chan. I like to knit, so naturally I had to knit something TF2 related.

SO I MADE WASHCLOTHS.

So far I have Sniper and Soldier completed, with Medic next up to be cast on.

And here's the Soldier cloth!

That's adorable! I would definitely use them! to rub my favorite classes all over my body
Though Soldier's looks a little too much like a fish.

Note taken! I think the next time I knit one I'll try making the pattern bigger to allow for a little more detail, little less fishiness.

Awesome! I can't do anything fancy with knitting, myself, so I'm quite impressed. and also like the idea of rubbing my favourite class all over my body... (I have done fannish embroidery, though...)

If you folks are interested, I've thought about selling them either individually or in pairing sets. Still gotta make some practice ones to perfect the patterns, but they're awfully quick projects.

Captcha: talnesu fpacious,. Fapacious indeed.

I'd so buy the crap out of a pairing set! It would compliment Chi's and my household so nicely.
I'm such a huge nerd, I NEED TO HAVE TF2 WITH ME EVEN WHEN I'M CLEANING MY BODY.

Keep it up! I love knitting and stitching and sewing to bits!

Funny you should mention the Medic, as I just finished his.

Just finished this one about a half hour ago, so it's still got tails and hasn't been dampened to shape it yet, so the edges look kinda wonktastic. I like how sharp the cross turned out.

I also wish the lighting in my room wasn't so shit/that I had a better camera. :T The yarn I use is a really lovely bright red, but between the lamp light and the phone camera it gets all washed out in the images.

Buuuut yeah! If anybody's legitimately interested in buying, do hit me on y!gallery (CousinKevin) or on AIM (TheRibPlace) to place orders. The Heavy is next up on the needles, followed by the Scout. I'm saving Demo for last...@n@ Dat sticky bomb. I may end up doing one of his previous badges (the bomb or the dynamite) so the image will be clearer.

Also, I totally made the Soldier cloth solely so I could say I shower with Solly.

And that last sentence has a lot of S's in it.

Ooh, that emblem really is sharply defined. Nice.

(And ugh, I hate that I can never get fibers to photograph well, either the flash washes the colour out or the lamp/overhead light is too yellow... or some combination of the two. I definitely feel you there)

How would a knitted washcloth work? If I'm not mistaken, putting knitting into water and then rubbing it - well, that's how you do felting, right?

Cotton yarn doesn't felt.
