Hi, I've been here for a while and this is my first time posting, wow... posting my digital drawings here and I would love to read from critiques and anybody to redline my artwork. Thanks!

Before I draw his suit, I'm still practicing my anatomy on different angles... All I know is that his left shoulder is off :/

I don't have a tablet hooked up to this computer, and my mouse is shit, so I can't give you a redline. I can say straight off that the spy's chest looks weirdly stiff, and the details like creases on the surface and his navel seem disconnected to the outline, almost arbitrary.

This thread- http://tf2chan.net/workshop/res/22.html -has loads of excellent reference material, for the human body in general as well as pictures of the TF2 characters. If you're in some kind of a mad rush, there's a torso here- http://tf2chan.net/workshop/src/128943991398.jpg - and some male body reference here- http://tf2chan.net/workshop/src/128923662825.jpg

Oh yes of course, I am familiar with the Artistic Help Thread but lately I have been ignoring that, I am mentally challenging myself to picture the anatomy but I guess an amateur like me isn't capable of doing that yet.

Not only I will draw TF2 but this will help me improve my drawing skills, still have room to improve. Also here's a BLU Scout portrait, hat and hatless :). I'm practicing facial expression and lighting/shading.

Thanks Obvious etc.

Dude, everyone has room to improve, always. It's not cheating to study anatomy, and you won't get better quicker by not looking at reference material for the human body. Shit, I got a degree in art, slacked off for a few years, and now I'm re-learning a bunch of stuff all over again. Learning is a continuous process, and suggesting you look at the reference thread wasn't meant as a put-down. It was common sense. Any artist who cares about realism will spend hour upon hour studying the human body.
