Quoting posts

Quoting a post is quite simple. Just click on the post number and it will be automatically added to your post, or you can do it manually by typing in >> and the post number. Posts on other boards can also be quoted by using >> followed by the board name and post number. Example: >>/offtopic/1 will link to post #1 on Offtopic.. In addition to this, specific phrases can be quoted by using one > followed by what you want to quote.

Sage, noko and you

When you put sage in the email field your post will not bump the thread as it usually would. This is useful for placing comments on fanfiction without bumping the thread and getting people's hopes up, likewise for fanart. It is also useful for replying to bad threads without increasing their visibility by bumping them.

Noko also goes in the email field and is very useful when making many replies to one thread. When it is used you will return to the thread you were posting in, instead of returning to the first page of the board.

Deleting a post

If you remembered to enter a password when you made your post you can delete it. Simply check the check box next to your post, scroll down to the bottom of the page, enter the password into the password field and press delete. This will delete the post and any file that was posted with it. Ticking the 'File Only' check box will not delete the post, just the file that was posted with it.

Reporting a post

The best way to call a moderator's attention to a bad post/thread is to report it. You can do this by checking the box next to the post, scrolling to the bottom of the page and pressing the 'Report' button. Please put in a reason first if you can, as this helps with the moderation process.
