So I made this, having enjoyed making the one prior to it.
I'd like some input on it, so I can get a feel for what I should improve / change, etc.

Future videos probably wont be from this first-person perspective, as I want to attempt to get into Gmod frame animation, but I'll see when I get there.
>> No. 9025
I made this as a simple animation test.
It's my first shot at frame by frame animation in gmod. :c
>> CA No. 9026
I liked the first one, the first person was done pretty well. The stop animation is a tricky thing to do, and i apologies, but i don't have much advice to help with that, besides saying that it is not very smooth in places, like with the gun. The animation of him firing then dropping was done way to quickly. Maybe more frames?

this also is tf2 related, not offtopic. there is a thread in discussion called 'tf2 video fun'. This should really go there
>> US No. 9030
Stop animation is something that you just get the hang of after practicing for awhile. Just remember, use as many fucking frames as possible if you want fluid animation. It's tedious as fuck but you get results.

I´m so tired of all this.
I know i´m not a nice person and not easy to handle, but i try ever not to let a friend down.
So why do i ever get the feeling my so called friends, don´t give a damn about me?

Constantly i get closed out, if they meet to party or hang around. If i say we should do something it mostly is okay sure, just to hear later: Naw, sorry we can´t, for no apparent reason.

It makes me sad, especially because it´s hard for me to make friends. I mean people i call really friends and not just: This one guy which i know and once in a while talk to.

Naturally i already told them so, but still...
if it wouldn´t bother me i would just shut my mouth up about it.

I've had that-- I wound up going to a cardiologist thinking it was my heart. A bunch of tests later, he gave me an anti-anxiety pill that I could take in addition to my usual antidepressants when I was having an attack. It was the first time I'd had the physical side on its own, and I hadn't been having the attacks in so long that it really freaked me out.

Instead of taking an antidepressant, though, my brother takes a pill that only addresses the physical symptoms, because he didn't like the side effects he was getting, and he finds that without the physical panic attacks happening as often or as acutely, he has less emotional stress.

It's a trigger reaction. Something waaay in the back of your mind is triggered by something and makes your body react that way. Kind of a Pavlov's Dog sorta thing.

I don't know how to help, humans confuse me with their weird social rituals. So have a hug *hugs*

Dear Sir,
I'm most sorry to burst your bubble, but
are not the same poster. I will humor you, though, by providing my reasons.
1. The mods will reply to any criticism of anything they happen to like (in this case, TF2, but more often the art of someone they're friends with) with a swing of the old, tired banhammer or with the equally overused :V emoticon.
2. The posters on the Chan are of equal quality to those of /b/, and will flip into a PMS-esque fury at the drop of a hat, regardless of the circumstances or how ungrievously their delicate feelings were hurt.
Of course, I will be responded to with either 1, wherein the thread will be locked, deleted, or I'll be banned, or two, wherein "umad?" will be uttered at least once.
Anon of >>8126.

P.S.: Sage-kun was right to step down.
P.P.S.: Upon replying, I found that the thread was indeed locked, exactly as I had predicted. To recompense for this mistake, I made a new thread. You're welcome, TF2chan staff. I've already bent over for my ban.
>> No. 8976
3. I'll step in and tell you to kindly quit attempting to start shit and lock your thread to prevent others from taking the bait. Either quit it or I'll just flat out ban you permanently for being nothing but a troublemaker. I'm not going to ban you for your opinions in your postscript, but I don't speak for the other mods. Quit believing everything you hear on Hipstr when all you hear is one side of the chan: the people who left over ridiculous things that even I fail to understand where the issue came from, such as omgrun's ban when there was CLEAR EVIDENCE they only came back to be a dick, or the "crocopocalypse" which was (apparently; I wasn't actually around for this) a huge deal over one mod banning a single artist because they didn't like what they posted.
>> US No. 8980
You are more than welcomed to state what sort of problems you have with the site and behavior of the mods in a polite manner and in the appropriate board/thread. You can also contact us with our emails or via another method as listed on the Info page. There's plenty of ways to contact the mods and I. If you have an issue with mod behavior and don't want to bring it up, you may contact me.

When having a problem, please be specific as well. Crying, "THERE'S A PROBLEM, IT'S THE WHOLE CHAN." does nothing to help, but will instead make you appear like someone trying to cause trouble, and that will simply not fly here.

I will now address the two problems/accusations you have brought up.
1. I don't understand why you are bringing up behavior from two years ago, because this sort of behavior doesn't fly today. Especially with our limited number of staff. I hope you ain't confusing the red text in >>8108 as real bans. They were joke bans.

2. The same can be said about any other online community. However, lumping everybody together in one pile and then blowing it up with a stick of dynamite won't work. Every online community has its share of bad apples and these things happen. However, it only makes up a small minority, as with any other internet community. If you're going to judge the Chan by that vocal minority and not see the whole picture, then you probably shouldn't be here.

Sage-kun was right to step down after encouraging and fueling a poorly aimed flamewar in an artist's thread, and also for removing an administrative ban placed upon the malicious troll that has started it without prior discussion, allowing the community to suffer as whole. He was abusing his power and got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

All-in-all, you appear like somebody trying to cause trouble, basing upon your post scrip

The old one was about to autosage anyway, so how about a new one? Share recipes, talk about cooking disasters, cooking triumphs, recommend things, talk about what you ate last night or what you're eating right now.

Also, have a recipe for Banana Bread. It's simple as hell to make, you can use up bananas that're going squishy, and Mexi's family LOVE it when I make this. A loaf never lasts more than a few days.

Banana Bread

4 medium Bananas, mashed
1/3 cup Butter or Margarine, melted
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional)
Cinnamon to taste (optional)
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
Pinch Salt
1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour

I just made a variation on peaches and cream that was quick, seems pretty healthy, and was tasty.

You need:
A small bowl
1 peach
Plain yogurt

Cut up the peach into the bowl and spoon enough yogurt over the pieces to take up a lot of the remaining space in the bottom of the bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and spices to taste.

Last winter, I saw an episode of Best Thing I Ever Ate that featured a very tasty-looking shrimp & garlic dish (kind of like a scampi) that I decided to make a slight variation of for New Year's Eve dinner ("Variation" meaning "alter the amount of ingredients to suit my family and add pasta"). My family loved it, and insisted I make it again next New Year's, so I wrote it down. I rediscovered the recipe today while looking for something on my external hard drive, and since this thread was bumped, I thought I'd share. I only wrote down the recipe a couple days after said dinner, and I didn't exactly measure the amount of lemon juice and pepper I used, so my measurements might not be exactly the same as they were that night, but I think it's close enough.

Yes, I realize I used a lot of garlic and butter. It's one of those "eat on special occasions, not every day" meals.

2½ lbs. jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 bulbs fresh garlic, peeled
2 sticks butter
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp crushed red pepper
8 oz. linguini

Melt one stick of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic cloves and saute until lightly browned and tender. Meanwhile, boil a large pot of water for the pasta. Cook linguini according to the package directions. Add shrimp and remaining butter to the garlic butter mixture and continue sauteing until butter is completely melted and the shrimp is pink and opaque. Stir in lemon juice and pepper and cook for an extra few minutes. Remove shrimp mixture from heat and serve over pasta.

Serves 4-5

Whatever is in the fridge!

Although most of the time I usually go for toast or fruit toast. Often I want something cool and crunchy and I grab and apple or carrot. Recently had a fried ham sandwhich but I stopped doing that, it was very greasy.

I know I shouldn't snack, it's bad and I'm fat but I find it hard to care; sure, I'd like to be a reasonable weight but my metabolism is slow and excersise is hard and/or expensive.

Something I just discovered this week - make rice, but don't cook it all the way, put it in the fridge mostly cooked. That way, you can spoon it out into a bowl, add a little water (and vinegar, if you like sticky rice) and put something over the bowel like a plastic lid. That makes a makeshift rice cooker, and the rice isn't dried out every time you heat some up.

Last thread has already autosaged, so I figure I'll start a fresh thread. A couple of questions for you good lot:

Has anyone used this / heard of it used?

I know it's designed for couples, but would be using it without a partner be worth the price (approximately $80) or effort of obtaining it? I'm mostly taking into consideration the external stimulation coupled with small to moderate sized insertion. I'm not exactly up on the sex toys scene, but it caught my eye, and the idea is appealing.

I'm also wondering if many sex toy sites offer an anonymous sort of delivery. I'm worried about the quality and selection available in stores, but I also don't fancy my brother or parents to know the exact size and lustrous colour of any potential sextoys.

On the subject of those anal toys, I highly recommend those, based on my eyewitness account of what they've done to my ex boyfriend. Apparently it's quite a 'boost', if that makes sense.

I was in the bedroom reading and I hear my bf in the other room listening to porn. Now being the scheming thing I am I wait for the porn to end, crank up the vibe and go to town some what loudly. BF comes in, falling for my bait. Lights on sex, I'm a happy camper.

I identify as pansexual. It's the most accurate label that suits me. I also happen to have a functioning vulva.
I fap to a lot of stuff. Mostly BDSM. Lately my kinks are becoming fetishistic.
I CANNOT fap to femsub/maledom. I need femdom/malesub. Gay BDSM can still do it for me but not lesbians.
Anybody know any good sites?

So I was reading this Cracked article 7 Pieces of Good News Nobody is Reporting (here: http://www.cracked.com/article_19317_7-pieces-good-news-nobody-reporting.html ) and I thought, well, we could sure use a place to find all the good news that we're missing.

The video embedded is from the article; Han Rosling shows us how different the world is today than it was 200 years ago, and how much has changed for the better.
Everyone in the world is better off than they were, even the very poorest and sickly countries.
Post your good news, and let's rejoice together.

And apparently the "Huddy" thing I hated is getting retracted. Yay!

I have a feeling he'll never get with Wilson, though. Networks like heavily hinting at gay but never making it canon because "ew nobody wants to see that".

Excellent. Although I have missed out on 95% of season 7.. I watched the first 3 episodes and never found the fourth online, somehow - I've been a fan for years, but I am getting lazy.

I'll just have to catch up when season 7 is out on DVD. And then perhaps resume watching on a weekly schedule.

Sage because I can't think of any particular good news for you lot today (besides LGBT rights, which I think you're all up on anyways).

The ongoing project of drawing medic per day was featured on the TF2 side now

If you see through it you may recognize several pictures which were already featured in the chan.

Including Medic in drag.

I believe the world becomes a better place.
