Tell what you snack on at nighttime if you do it, and if you wake up in the middle of the night to snack, tell us what you eat to help you go back to sleep!

I snack on Kosher Dill Pickles. Heheh...

depends what i have for leftovers and how hungry i am. But usually its buttered toast or a baked potato.

Usually peanut butter or hot chocolate... but I keep a bag of goldfish by my bed in case hunger wakes me up.

I don't wake up in the middle of the night for snacks because I tend to stay up pretty late already. However, when I do get a little hungry late at night, I like making myself some popcorn (either microwaved or on the stove - whichever sounds better at the time).

Pickles are great, but as I live with people I tend to stealth snack at night, bread and butter is pretty cool, but if I'm feeling risky I might fire up the microwave under strict watch so the timer doesn't beep.

I just turn on the stove and make myself some soup. I never finish it, so I just have the leftovers for lunch the next day. It's kinda hilarious, because my family never knows how these mysterious containers of soup show up overnight.

I go to bed about 1 or 2. Usually eat a fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt before bed. I have to take my meds with food anyway.

Always apples for me. There's like a constant supply of apples in my fruit drawer, so whenever I get snacky at night, I just grab one.

Though, once all of the fruit on the trees in my yard ripen, I'll be snacking on apples, oranges, peaches, figs, guavas and loquats. Yyyyeeesss ahaha I fucking love fruit.

I usually just have some sweet crackers or a slice of bread. The BEST midnight snack, however, is a piece of bread with butter, salt and pepper, folded over against a generous portion of turkey or chicken - dark is always preferable, but white works just as well. It's the perfect size, helps settle my stomach, and the fowl always seems to help me get to sleep.

I'm guilty of eating potato chips. I'll also eat crackers or dry cereal if I find myself with the munchies, though most of my nightly snacking habits tended to happen when I lived by myself in the apartment. Not so much in my family home where the smallest noise wakes up my mom...

Usually toast with butter on it or, if I'm motivated enough, a grilled cheese.

Usually if I wake up in the middle of the night, I just wander downstairs and get a drink of something.
>> US No. 8253
I usually just raid the fridge, so tonight either a slice of watermelon or an otter pop.

I have such a sweet tooth, I go straight for the chocolates and cookies.

It's surprising I didn't get any cavities till after I had braces for 5 years. I've always been a midnight snacker but my teeth were great until after the braces.

Cheese. On The Doctors, they said cheese helps you sleep, and since I'm a sufferer of insomnia I'll try anything to sleep.
It does help.
Gives me weirdass dreams sometimes though.

A bowl of cereal does the trick like no-one's business. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is where it's at, but occasionally I'll go for Cheerios or Frosted Flakes.
I fucking love cereal.

Honey bunches of Oats with vanilla. Try it, you will never have any regrets.

String Cheese, Little Debbie brownie snacks, and/or some balsamic chips tend to be my late-night snacks of choice.

Sometimes this is all I need
it'd be nice if it stopped trying to maim me

This is gonna sound weird, but when I wake up hungry in the middle of the night, I hate walking all the way downstairs to the kitchen, and so instead I sniff candles.

yeah. I'm weird. It makes me less hungry, though. Can't explain that.

Best tuna kit ever. If I don't have one of these, then I'll try to find raw pepperoni and either heat them in the microwave to get some fat off or eat them as is.

I could've sworn I took a screenshot of when this was right above TMI sextalk but I lost it. These two images make it gold.

Whatever is in the fridge!

Although most of the time I usually go for toast or fruit toast. Often I want something cool and crunchy and I grab and apple or carrot. Recently had a fried ham sandwhich but I stopped doing that, it was very greasy.

I know I shouldn't snack, it's bad and I'm fat but I find it hard to care; sure, I'd like to be a reasonable weight but my metabolism is slow and excersise is hard and/or expensive.

I take some avocado, a piece of toast, and smush the avocado onto it.

Something I just discovered this week - make rice, but don't cook it all the way, put it in the fridge mostly cooked. That way, you can spoon it out into a bowl, add a little water (and vinegar, if you like sticky rice) and put something over the bowel like a plastic lid. That makes a makeshift rice cooker, and the rice isn't dried out every time you heat some up.
