Dunno if I should have here or in Projects and Mods. I don't remember us having a thread talking about what mods and skins we use.

I switch around a lot. Right now I'm using Dinosaur Pirate's skin packs for all except Pyro and Spy. I use female mods for them. I switched what sides the medics were on though; long story but I like the blonde Medic on Red. I made the Sniper and Fem!Spy's glasses lenses transparent instead of shades. I also mess around with random things of my own from time to time to test things.

My friend and I have been RPing our own TF2 characters for some time and then we were introduced to Ask Themed Hipstrs and the "Ask The Red & Blu Spies" was born!

The Spies are characters based off the TF2 universe but the characters names and lives are ours, so if that's not something you enjoy this might not be a Hipstr for you (not that Spy has a lot known about him, and not that Blu or Red would be willing to give out their real names to just anyone anyway).
No respawn and the medigun isn't great in our RP universe.

All of the art on the Hipstr account so far is made by the writer for the Blu Spy (including the image here). I, the writer for Red Spy, might do some doodles but it is unlikely (and probably better for everyone).

So please ask to your hearts content! We're hoping to make this project a big success and I couldn't think of a better TF2 fan base to get this up and running. We have other TF2 characters we'd love to get into their own TF2 Ask Hipstr Blogs, so if you like what you see let us know that too!

First time making a topic but I've been lurking for a bit. Hope this is the most-correct place to post this.

So I've been working on an idea for a new update. all in fun of course but id like your guys ideas and input. Each class will have their role in the dysfunctional school.
so far we've decided on the following:
Engineer = Glorified JanitorGroundsKeeper
Scout = The Trouble Maker
Spy = The Principal
Soldier = PysEd Teacher
DemoMan = Chemistry Prof.
Pyro = Lunch Lady Person
Medic = School Nurse
Heavy = English Teacher
Sniper = ? (Geography Teach, Civics Teach, Ideas Anyone?)

Things might not be entirely balanced, we could use some help.

I'm currently at the stage where I'm seriously considering going Serious Business with this--registering as a Sole Proprietor where I live and getting the services of a copyright lawyer so I can hash out a licensing agreement with Valve.

...except I have no idea if this idea will work. I'm not a salesman in the least and I can't do something like this alone. I'm also having issues finding thread and cloth of the right color and the current embroidering machine I have, combining with my relative inexperience, means that these things look obviously amateur.

So, Channers, is this the beginning of something awesome, or should we just start a campaign to have Valve sell us the badges directly? How much would you be willing to pay for a 3 to 3.5 inch (depending on the size shirt you want to put it on) iron-on badge of the class and team of your choice? Would you only buy this if you're cosplaying, if you're a fan, or is this something you might consider buying if you came across a booth in a convention?

Cloth is still iffy, I'm looking at custom fabric dying places (but that would be a big jump I can't take until I'm serious). Now I need to look into whether or not I'd have to upgrade my digitizing software and/or my sewing machine. ...damn, crack is cheaper than this. Now before you shut me down and say this is stupid, I should explain myself a bit and then explain what I'm doing.

My friends and I love the TF2 universe. We have fun in game and out, and often role play with such Tf2 characters. We would come up with our own ideas about each characters, in particular the Spy. Not much is known about him so it's left up to your imagination. We deemed that Spy is rather professional and seems to have a variety of gadgets that any normal person trying to be a spy would never get.

So, he had to have some formal training, right?

Enter in the Spy school we've deemed The Academy. There would be different classes of spies each with there own unique field ( after all no two spies are alike.)Secretly, I began work on a spy RGP as a guilty pleasure. Why? Because it sounded cool in my head.

Very recently my friends found out about this. They loved the idea and what I had already. They then posed a challenge to me to create a Spy themed RPG Table Top game.

Well, challenge accepted!

I'm currently in the works of a Spy Themed RPG. It would play like a DnD campaign and your only limits are your imagination. The customizations and rules will be very user friendly. Plus once it is released I will more than gladly help anyone.

I place this here because this IS a work-in-progress. I really hope this doesn't sound stupid and people are willing to give this a try before they shoot it down. And trust me, putting this on the chan was no easy thing as I'm terrified of the responses I will get.

Hi there, recently I started dabbling into mods for TF2, only problem is that numerous mods have the name for the items enclosed in a folder called "c_items"

I've honestly tried everything, sticking all the files in the one folder, creating folder duplicates to put the files in individually, but nothing really seems to work.

What am I doing wrong here?

Since I know we're going to redecorate soon.

Taking a break from female classes, robots happened.

So I kinda got bored and made a half ass tie dye skin for the BLU femspy to match my unusual peace hat. What do you guys think? I haven't decided if I should do the rest of them.
