This is something I would absolutley love, but unsure about how to do so.

Up until I saw this skinpack, which modifies ONLY the blue team with entirely new models and textures, the red team being completley default, got me wondering. Would this be possible with other models such as the female Pyro?

The above is a great pyro replacement, but if this means we could possibly still have the default male pyro on say, the red team. Well that was just cherry my cupcake.

I'm very nub when it comes to modelling, so i'm moreso asking if this is possible rather then a request, but if someone could, I would love you to no end. I tried email the zombie pack maker himself but had no luck.

How resource intensive are we talkin'? Like I can understand a double poly-count with both models being rendered but one using an invisible texture or something. Could someone give this a shot? I'm pretty ameature .___.

I know heaps who would love this, who love both the masculine and femanine personas and if it doesn't severaly harm frame-rate it could mean more unqiue team-models in the future too.

Ah, this is an age-old question. If only it wasn't so time-consuming and difficult, because I would LOVE to have mixed model teams. But, having little to no knowledge of models and their workings, it's far beyond my comprehension.

Double Polycount, Double LOD's, and yes double textures, but double in the way that you need, red and blue for red, and red and blue for blue, even if the model is completely different, cept ofcourse being fully transparent.

And I'm not sure how many textures TF2 can support on one model at the same time.

For the Pyro atleast, a complete remodelling wouldn't be needed, as gloves, helm and backpack are already drawn from the default model. But it would still take 4 textures, just means less hidden polys.

All my appreciation to anyone who gives this a go atleast, the models and textures are already done, just need someone who can peice the puzzle.

Would a small steam gift/tf2 hat purchase and giftwrap or simply a minor paypal donation perhaps stray you from your project for a little? If this can work without making framerate unplayable or something along those lines, I'm more then happy to compensate for the effort to get it working.

Please ignore the poor skins and capture quality, but an interesting note to make is bots such as the ones on Thundermountain, seem to use their own models and textures.

I know the screenshots are poor but it atleast shows both ingame at the same time. Perhaps it could be coded in the vmt files to call the models from these for one team? Means no extra textures this way aswell. Then again i am a nub so no idea if this would be a doable alternative :S

This could even mean single model replacements for other classes too, like the sleeveless/stylish spy being strictly red only for example.
