6v6 (or 6s) is considered the main competitive mode of TF2, and has the largest amount of mainstream support. A 6s team typically consists of 2 scouts, 2 soldiers, 1 demoman and 1 medic, the latter two classes being restricted to one per team. 6s leagues tend to have larger weapon restrictions and overwhelmingly play 5 Control Point maps. ESEA is the main league that 6s teams compete in, divided into Open, Intermediate, and Invitational divisions.
