Hello tf2chan community.

I'm starting a 6v6 team with some friends of mine, and am wondering what leagues/competitions are good for people new to 6v6. My team members include one person with 500+ hours experience in tf2 (me), and 5 people who have had it for less than a year. Also, what do people do training-wise for competitions?

Most 'serious' 6s teams play in ESEA, which is considered the main league. It's not very practical for beginners though, cause competition is really tough, and also you have to pay real $$$. The other leagues are CEVO, which isn't very competitive anymore, and UGC, which is more known for their highlander but has a small 6s season.
