Just a messy sketch is all I've got.

I want to do something with this, maybe paint it or at least color it. I've been painting a lot of portraits and concept art and textures, but the lack of tf2 fanart fun has made me sad.

Thanks! I like paintings that have some evidence of the process in them, with brush strokes and selective detail, and the underpainting. I could go on and refine forever, but I'd prefer them to be just as detailed as they need to be. And then go back and correct horrible mistakes.

Also, I use Photoshop CS3. If you're using a fairly recent version, it should be here in the brush settings. Hope this helps.

3ds Max 2010, I have the educational version. I'm definitely going to texture it, since it's a piece for my portfolio (I need a job). Unwrapping it will be a delight, though, I'm sure. :C

I've worked with 3dsmax before. It was a pain to learn but GREAT once I got the hang of it. Sadly that was at a summer camp and I don't own it....

If I could I would hire you. Sadly I am also jobless, hah...

Thank you, I appreciate it. My portfolio is her, I'm embarrassed that I don't have my own site yet. http://guildhall.smu.edu/portfolio/ChemicalAlia

Right now the only things I wanting to look into more are facial rigging, hard surface material rendering with mental ray, and procedural texture generation is p cool too.

What do you do as a 3d artist?

A sketch from the art request thread that I finally colored. It's not very polished because my laptop died and I had to dig out on my old computer from 2003, which has a godawful brush lag when using more than one layer and 2 inches of dead pixels across the top of the monitor.

I'd love to touch it up later, though.

I love this, I just really feel Medic needs to be slouched more to emphasize the weight on his shoulders.

Also, this. I have no idea what possessed you to go through so much trouble for me, but I really can't thank you enough. You've truly done an utterly spectacular job.

Wow, I'm glad you like it! It's nothing crazy, but I'm happy to have time for fanart again.

The colors, Medic's expression, there is nothing I don't love about this.

Oh yeah, I meant to say before. It'd be cool to take a few art requests. So if anyone has any ideas, feel free to suggest them! No guarantees, but I'll draw whatever sounds fun, whenever I have time.

I'd like to see how Sniper acts when he first meets Hale and gets that oh-so-manly handshake.

Ooh, would you please draw Pyro spending quality bro time with Scout (or anybody else)?
>> No. 22033

Dunno if you take requests from the unnamed anons but here goes anyhow. Sniper getting punched out by a kangaroo. Because I know somewhere there's a pic of him punching a kangaroo and hilarious justice needs to be served one day.

>>21957 I thoroughly enjoy your Medics, and would love some gratuitous German action. Battling.. say.. Scout or a Heavy. Medic has the upper hand and is enjoying it greatly.

Seconding this. Or maybe some Pyro/Demo bro-tiem fun.

Or maybe one of the "smart" classes (like Spy) playing chess with one of the "not quite as smart" classes (like Sniper) and losing. Horribly.

Maybe drawing an irritated, uninterested hetero Heavy with a faggy, interested homo Medic, would be fun?

omg this is amazing. I'm so in love with how you draw the characters, and your lineart is fabulous! I think I'm especially jealous of how you draw weapons though because I'm kind of crap with anything mechanical.
