Well I've rooted around old topics to find people banned for stupid stuff. I mean, the stuff they did was stupid. It's a way of rooting out stupid shit, but also there's people trying to just plain ignore trolls or stupid shit to avoid more of it coming.

I mean, if you see a dumb post, just ignore it. Also, simple logic, act civil and contribute the best you can, take crit and don't take yourself too seriously (don't start fights or get offended over dumb shit) you'll be fine. Also, read the rules. People find this to be pretty anal retentive to have to go through this process but it's really much easier on everyone if they just follow the rules. You'll be fine, just maybe cut down the self depreciation, it might look like you're fishing for compliments. Just post and have fun, dude.

so far as I've ever seen, people don't get banned for the art itself but for responding like petulant toddlers to criticism (or things they perceive to be criticism). people with not-so-hot art who are willing to accept advice, maybe even attempt to learn from it... I have only ever seen those types of people treated kindly. or, okay, kindly by our standards, I will admit this can be a tough love group.

OP, your style may be cartoony but it's well done and succeeds at funny. I especially love your colours, looks lovely for something so relatively simple. fret not, contribute more!

Maybe someone has it saved and can post? Regardless, I like the choices you make in your stylization, and I think the references will help you sort out the similarity problem.
