There are some common issues I've seen in all the drawings you've posted that jump out at me as huge distractions. Several other people have touched on them, and I'd like to elaborate with my thoughts.
I don't know what you've defined as your style, but all the soft bodies and languid doe eyes feels more like a crutch. There's such a range of expression to pull from with these characters, and their individual exaggerations can add so much to their personality in a drawing. Look how MASSIVE his neck is, in contrast to the tiny cranium and beady, piercing eyes. He is extremely imposing, even his neutral expression has attitude! Your Heavy reminds me of a shiny boiled hotdog. With no teeth.
Even if what you're aiming for is girly, gay fluff, the dynamic of these two characters presents so many great creative opportunities if you'd study them more closely.
