No. 19387
>>19366 Like I’ve said, the body isn’t that complicated to understand, so that (to me at least) is no sign of him being overly intelligent. He obviously educated himself on the body because it’s interesting to him, but then a bimbo would be smart because she knows a lot about make-up. Just because you’re good at something it doesn’t make you smart.
>>19369 According to his bio he never went to medical school. Or as it says “had any sort of verifiable formal training in medicine”
>>19371 English isn’t my first language (I share your pain, Heavy!), so I may not be reading your comment right. Anyway, my dad was constantly irritated by me, but that was because he was less educated on a lot of things and couldn’t understand how I could possibly be right. I could even go get a book and point it out to him, and he would still tell me I was wrong and get annoyed when I said the same thing a few days later.
>>19372 That is actually a very interesting way of looking at it.
I’m in no way saying Medic is stupid. He just comes off as a guy who likes to put needles in people, and is smart enough to fake being an actual doctor to be allowed to do so. I don’t think he would be able to actually take the education because it would require too much of him. It wouldn’t surprise me if he doesn’t even know the Latin words for the body parts.
But then again, he wears glasses, and in fiction glasses = smart, so I won’t even care to eat my words if he turns out to be very smart. I already know now that my “Medic is not that intelligent” theory is a lost cause. I’m just keeping this up because I think it’s an interesting discussion.
