Haha, thanks! If I ever find where I put my old paperback copy of Thompson's F&LILV, then "Fear & Loathing In The Badlands" will become a wonderful retarded reality. It's already unfolded quite easily in my mind for some reason, I just need my book to get the quotes right.

Hah! I actually originally WAS going to draw It's Pat under Pyro's mask, but decided to be more original in the end. Glad I went that way.

I also made a spray for myself to use of the Fear & Loathing panel, because why not.

Owl did an "With Apologies to Hunter S. Thompson" a while ago with Spy as the narrator, and it was only really loosely related to Fear and Loathing, though it was still awesomesauce. That and with all the tributes we've had to it, a full-blown proper tribute would be lovely.

And well, you know, considering how we tend to tie in the works of a whole bunch of other authors like Harlan Ellison, Shirley Jackson and Terry Pratchett, why the hell not?
