I just furied. Some of us Medics take pride in at least /trying/ to support and heal the entire team rather than easymoding and sticking to the top-scoring player.

The comic... I don't even know where to begin. I don't see the humor or "cuteness", Engineer is not a woman, Spy is not a blob - or half of a blob, as it is, and Pyro's gas mask seems extremely wonky - then again, the entire comic is... just... badly drawn. Gah, I can't really offer anything helpful except LEARN TO HUMAN ANATOMY AND PROPORTIONS. Or even just LRN2DRAW.

Tough i do have to agree that naming it "medic syndrome" was in its own a horrible mistake of said poster, I must agree that in my early days I tended to stick to only one or maybe two allies(during the first week of playing), but I later grew out of this behavior. Tough still if I see a single engineer trying to hold a flank or similar i usually either help him keep spies away or kill myself for him to get some metal.

About the comic, I must agree with Kievan, DR Tanner and Owl Tiem about it, more practice is needed.

Medic Syndrome sounds a bit like Pyro Syndrome, in which the tendency for the latter class to draw retards to it, thanks to its retard-friendly learning curve and its air of "mystery", then generates equally retarded fanart drawn by said retards besotted with a class in which they may 1 for 1 by pushing two buttons down simultaneously. That one about the Flare Gun needing a buff was a classic but yours is a worthy addition to the archive.

If you want my honest, level-headed type opinion on this comic... it seems like the sort of thing that was made for a friend and would only really be understood between friends. I'm guessing the girlgineer is a player you're friends with, right? I assume this because there's no other conceivable reason to draw them as a girl.

The art... needs work. I'm not knocking the sper-deformed/chibi style, since it can be done really well; Shyguy's stuff is an excellent example, and I suppose you could go so far as to count Floozy's stuff like that too. The difference is that they can draw it so that its structured; the perspective is wonky in your comics, and Pyro's eyes in the second panel are uneven. I would suggest studying some proper anatomy, even with super cartoony stuff. It can give your drawings a sense of mobility and motion, whereas the stuff you're making now looks stiff and flat and awkward.

Then again, as far as drawfags go on this board, I'm probably on the lower rungs of the hierarchy. I've been pushing myself to try and suck a lot less, and other drawfags on this board have certainly helped with that.

I'm not touching the "Medic Syndrome" bit.

Though the thread hasn't been recreated on the new chan, I can't recall a single person who didn't offer some kind of service to novice/fellow writers/artists.
In addition to all of this, I fail to recall any contributions you yourself have made. Be it poor memory or simple inattention, the only thing I see you contributing is a hugbox, and if there's anything we don't need, it's a hugbox.
I also don't think there's anyone over the age of 18 who would seriously type "prioretize heavys" or "made an art".

As a general rule, if people post and don't want criticism, then they damn well better be posting on DA.
