This is Pyro. He took 4 days to make.

I sold Pyro for $25. I am disgusted at myself.

Shoes!

My first time decorating shoes. It was mostly trial and error, so I used everything from crayola markers to sharpies to copics.

This is quite possibly the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

As for sealants, however, I have...no idea.

I usually use hairspray for shit like that but considering those are shoes, I doubt if it'll be enough.

A logical suggestion might be water-resistant varnish.
>> No. 5840
>>5824
I assume the shoes are canvas, in which case there's a lot of things you can use. My best friend ordered a pair of shoes from a woman online who does AMAZING custom painted sneakers, and she uses run-of-the-mill spray arcrylic sealant on them; after three months of constant wear the sneaks are still in perfect shape so...

On the other hand, my mom swears by Mod Podge. I never tried that stuff so I dunno what to tell ya there.
>> No. 5842
Actually, yeah. Now that I think about it, Mod Podge would be great to use.

It's flexible when dry, so it shouldn't crack even from heavy wear. I use it for waterproofing paper before I put pictures in resin. (And for waterproofing cardboard before I gesso it to paint. (: )

Pyro and the shoes, seriously amazing. I second >>5830, is that cuddlepyro? I just looked it up and compared them, I don't THINK so, this one looks a little more neatly sew on the mask. --No offense to anyone.

No, this isn't Cuddle Pyro. But I just HAD to make one after seeing the original.

And AWESOME, I'll try out the mod podge.

Last picture I have of him.

I'm thinking about selling some at a con. Since $25 might be too much to ask for, what would be a reasonable price?
>> No. 5900
>>5899
Honestly, with that size, I don't think that's too much to ask if it took you a long time to do it. I've seen much worse plushes for much more sell pretty quickly.

And I'd buy him for that much! If you took the price down at all, I'd say only to $20ish
>> No. 5903
>>5900
Pretty much this.

I'd even give you the material to make me one if possible.
>> No. 5905
>>5899
Whaaaaaaaat?! $25 is perfectly reasonable! Especially if that took you FOUR DAYS to make that first one, shoot. Make some patterns to make your life easier, maybe even scale him down a bit, get your butt sewing, and charge $25 a pop; last day of dealer's room knock it down to $20 if you haven't sold them all - maybe even $15 in the last hour. (Oh, Botcon taught me well. Hurf.)

... and theennnn share the pattern so us poor craftsfags can make em for ourselves. HAR HAR!
>> No. 5906
saw cuddlepyro, this one.... ugh that fat little body is sooo cute.
i like yours sooo much.

i'd buy him. very tempted at $20 if i saw him at a con!!
>> No. 5907
>>5905
Four days is actually considered pretty fast for me. But then I cut a lot of corners by just using fabric/hot glue when I got tired of sewing.

One Pyro calls for a pair of black socks, one red t-shirt, two buttons, additional black, grey, and orange-ish fabric, and other odds and ends.

I was actually thinking of posting a tutorial. But…

We'll see.

AHAHAHA THIS LOOKS LIKE REAL BREAD JUST NOT IN THIS PIC TAKE THAT BITCHES

I'm missing green and yellow for lettuce and cheese. Will finish as soon as I have time to visit Joann's.

Put together using only hot glue.
