I think you're great, TF2chan, and I want to give back.

Have a dazed spy while I work my way up to smut.

That shading is positively delicious.

>work my way up to smut

If I can do it, then a person of your talents most certainly can! I eagerly await more

The colors are great, and dos lips. My only beef is that the nose is at a slightly bad angle, we'd see practically none of the far nostril from this angel.

That said I'm looking forward to more from you!

Thanks for your comments and tips, kids. Much appreciated!

I've been playing Professor Layton, and whenever Luke says 'piece of cake!' I expect to hear 'PIECE OF PISS!' instead.

Also had a shot at engie. Any pointers on how to make him look testosteroney instead of like a baby in a man's body are much appreciated.

This is excellent, except for as you said, his face shape is on the feminine side. To make him manlier, I'd recommend enlarging the jaw.

Males in general have larger bottom thirds of the face. This website I'm looking at says it's wider, but I've observed that it is also longer in most cases. Which just means making the nose a little longer, adding more space between the nose and mouth. Engie's actual jaw looks good and wide. Just what's above it needs more length.

You made that distinction between male and female faces very well, looking at your spy picture and your scout momma picture!

Another thing you could do for Engie is widen the neck. It's very feminine in its width.

This is a pretty helpful little page, really: http://www.virtualffs.co.uk/male.female%20facial%20differences.htm

My biggest advice, really, is just to study the reference pictures in /help/ to compare and understand better Engie's jaw shape. That thread is my personal savior. Studying the faces of people you know is good, too, for gaining a handle on basic human facial anatomy.

Picture posted- male on the left, female on right.

This is a good help, too! I took a screenshot from "The Man Who Fell To Earth" where they show David Bowie's face along side the female co-star's face. Even a face like Bowie's, which could be considered on the androgynous side, has what I was talking about with the longer lower half/third. I just moved Bowie's head down (lawl mspaint) so it was level to the woman's so you can see what I mean.

I hope that was helpful for you! Had to delete and reword this ten thousand times.. I'm so sorry it's so wordy and long :C !

I like these but something seems kind of strange about the noses... They're too flat or something.

Thanks all, 'specially Jay... all that comes in very handy. I'm used to drawing fey, effeminate things so this'll get me used to drawing some proper solid man meat. :)

Oh tf2chan, I am raging. First my halos disappeared, then a soldier rocket jumped out of my uber and now my art was corrupted by bloody photoshop, resulting in it looking like this.

So I'm posting you an older version. Redlines before final would probably have been cool, anyway. :/

Man, I love Medic's face here. Kind of makes me think he's gonna go off into some long-winded philosophical rant about the tomato.

I am laughing as a retarded. Using that phrase is amazing ok. And I am totally in love with your style.

olol, that's great. I have had people give me that exact look as I go off about the ONE RIGHT WAY to prepare sandwiches. At first they think I'm being funny, then they realise I MEAN IT about the tomatoes, then they quickly but politely excuse themselves until I'm no longer holding a breadknife.

Like my mother puts butter on toast with honey.
Butter and honey do NOT go.
