The medic-disguised-spy in the first panel reminds me so much of the creations of Jhonen Vasquez, most specifically Todd(Squee's) father, and also the way Jhonen draws himself. I like the textures here, but they don't really work together. I'd prefer to see one or the other, and I would also suggest using a different blend mode (overlay, soft light or hard light if you bring the darkness and saturation way down), and don't be afraid to have the paper layer on top of the drawing itself. It will integrate better with the background and look less superimposed.

Anyway, just a suggestion, I'm a sucker for textures.

A picture I'm working on. I recently purchased a new anatomy book which is freaking awesome. I'm trying to draw anatomically correct and dynamic bodies without having to reference something. Basically a better understanding of the body.

I'm having a hard time with Demoman's hand holding the bottle. I can't seem to get his arm into a natural position. Also, Medic's legs are bothering me a bit.

STORY TIME

My best bud and I were on a balloon race map. We were waiting for someone to come back (he didn't, he got butthurt and left) so we passed the time at the first control point.

He was a Spy and I was a Sniper. I told him to do the crab walk and he was able to do the crab taunt once or twice.

The first control point is an island in the middle of this body of water. He walked to the edge and turned to me and said (over skype): "Sniper, I must leave you now. I must return to my home."

And crab walks into the water until I can't see him anymore.

This shit is called drama.
