Funnily enough, in the German version of the game, the characters actually ARE robots. They should totally look like this.

Watch closely - The blood is darkbrown to make it look like oil and they explode into metal parts, not gibs. Also Medic's head at the end has a spring coming out of it.
... Funnily enough, they didn't change the visuals for Meet the Sniper, so Demo still bleeds heavily out of his eye. German censorship is weiiiird.

Also glad to say that my impression was right! The jaw was what convinced me, yeah.

This is fabulous. I like how you alluded to the overalls with the shoulder straps, and how the electrical cord is attached to the back. Really clever.

Also the German version of the game making them robots is a pretty clever way to deal with censorship laws in a way that doesn't make the game feel oddly edited down (like the L4D Australian version).
