302 Slight accents are fine. Although I have a character whose accent is supposed to be ridiculously hard to understand (even fellow English speakers don't understand him most of the time), so I enjoy going all out. But unless that's the case AND you're going for humor, keep it light. For spy characters, I usually just turn every "th" into a "z" and perhaps leave it at that.
