>>14 I think Heavy thought the live Medic was the Spy, not the dead Medic. i could definitely be wrong, though, and i also like your idea for a continuation/entirely separate fic. i just love me some necro okay. I think this reply was directed at my post, >>6 and not Maelgwyn’s? I’ll reply in either case; please ignore me if I’m mistaken. It actually never occurred to me that Heavy would think the live Medic was a Spy. I guess I’m just so used to necrophiliac!Medic that it went right over my head that anyone could still be surprised at his fondness for corpses, let alone Heavy (but of course Heavy doesn’t frequent TF2chan, so he wouldn’t know about Medic’s occasional tendencies towards the macabre...). I presumed Heavy’s issue was with the creepiness of fucking your own corpse instead of someone else’s, and that he was hoping the dead person was a Spy because then at least Medic would only be a pervert and not completely deranged. Your interpretation makes a lot more sense, though, and after having it pointed out to me, I am convinced this is how Marty intended the situation to be read; I blame my own screwed biases for my first erroneous conclusion. I do still hope for a sequel, though!
