Oh, look. A TF2 MSN roleplay group. Yeah, that's right. Most of this is just going to be copy-pasta from the main board, elsewhere. If you have questions or require clarification on something, feel free to ask me!

It would really help to have MSN Messenger Plus, so you can sign into multiple accounts at once. Having the game would be cool, too. One of my fellow admins wants to dabble in ingame roleplay, and I was thinking we could hold battles over the game rather than over text. Now, without further rambling, here is the copy-pasta. Sorry if it's messy, it was formatted and I am too lazy to unformat it.


INTRO
=====
Bonjour.

Guten Tag.

Privyet.

Howdy.

I think I have covered them all.

Mere days past you were a mercenary without employment.
Now that you find yourself here, amongst a number of other
individuals (and a whole 'nother, oddly similar team against
you)--you are probably confused.

Well, don't be. Your purpose here is simple: defeat the other
team on behest of your respective employers. Fraternization
between REDs and BLUs is unwelcome; bitter rivalries encou-
raged, but I needn't tell you that. It is now your job to defeat the
other team.

Now meet your teammates and get to it. Your employers ex-
pect results, and you had better not let them down.


RULES
=====
1. Don't be an idiot.

2. Utilize common sense.

3. Bear some semblance of literacy.

4. Obey the admins. We are your gods, though some
of us might be narcissistic.

5. If you are having problems with someone, see if an
admin is willing of mediate. Don't cause an OOC war
amongst yourselves - that could get messy and we
may have to hire a few extraneous mercenaries to
clean it up.

6. Know how to differentiate between IC insults and
cruelty and OOC. We don't want to hear "ohnoes the
Soldier is being mean to me" when it was completely
IC and not directed at you, but your character.

7. Unless affected by an appropriate event, try to keep
your IC... IC. You can give your character perks within
reason, but I really don't see either Spy willingly dres-
sing up in a pink as Hell dress with heels and make up.

Maybe if he lost a bet...

8. Character death is allowed; respawn is enabled. You
can go into detail if you please. Just do not god mode.

9. This group, depending on the people it attracts, may
not be for the weak of stomach. Hells bells, you can make
people explode into gorey bits in-game!

10. Really, just don't be an idiot and we will probably all
get along fine.

While we're at it, IC drama is lovely. OOC drama not so
much. If you don't like a particular pairing you are free to
try and make it not happen via IC means if your character
has due motivation: otherwise, suck it up, buttercup,
and be glad that they are not sending you their chatlogs
. This group is not open to brazen fanwank. To add to that,
Premium vs. F2P elitism is also something that will be loo-
ked down upon and likely to get you shunned. Oh, and if
you're going to join and be a troll, I will have fun with you. I
love my fellow trolls.


HOW TO APPLY
============
You don't have to fill out a profile skeleton. There is no point
to that, it isn't like we're going to post them up anywhere
(but if you want to, go right ahead, make one up and fill it
out). The only thing you have to do is send one of us a wri-
ting sample of the character you are applying for. Make one
up if you don't have one. Then we will deliberate amongst
ourselves and decide whether or not to let you into our super
awesome secret clubhouse. If you get accepted, you may
want to create an email account tailored to your character.

In the beginning - like, right now - you will only be able to
apply for one character. That may change depending on how
many people join in however much time. As well, in the begi-
nning, we are only looking for the initial eighteen for both teams
- nine on each. Whether or not we will be looking for multiples
, OCs, or alternate teams is something that will be decided
upon later.
