That said, you've got a bit of a case of anime-face goin' on here. It's not a killing offense (to me, the rest of the chan may still get ye olde pitchforks and such) but over all he really doesn't look like Scout. And note that Scout is...uh...honestly rather average looking. Not a pretty boy, kind of has a weak chin, and definitely no fluffy, wavy locks of hair. I, for one, LIKE that Scout isn't a pretty boy, so it's less interesting to me to see him drawn like this. In terms of your picture, I think that would mean making the eyes smaller and the line of his cheek less concave and his chin less pointy. And while there's some lee-way on his hair (everyone draws it a bit differently) that dandelion on his head is a bit too modern looking. Soldier is gonna yell at him for being a hippie any second now!

Over all, I like your style and I'd love to see more art from you. For example, if Scout would like to continue taking off his clothes...? Dohohoho

Yeah I'm trying to shake the anime offa me, but it sticks. Faces, HAIR, I'm trying to learn how to draw everything again. Ahaha, man do I suck... You're welcome! There's nothing wrong with letting anime influence your style, but in this case it runs pretty counter to the general style of the game and it can trip you up. Really, the simplest way to make sure you don't let the anime take over is to just refer back to reference images while drawing, at least while you're still getting used to the characters and their style.

Yeah, the only problem I can see is the manga-ish 'shortcuts', which are very hard to get out of once you've used them. Another reason why I don't upload on TF2 yet.
