(spelt origional wrong. DERP)

The base is a dollar store iron man pez dispenser. I painted that flesh tone then added onto it with polymer clay to make the face the correct shape. Then I sculpted and added the ears and nose. The goggles came next. And the hardhat is removable but I'll probably redo it because the edges are crumbling.

The hardhat will be removable so I can bake the in the oven.

But you can't realy bake a plastic pex dispenser so I had to ghetto harden the clay with an old lighter I haven't used in awhile. The lighter burnt the crap out of him (and that looked cool) but I didn't get a picture of that, and now I'm painting him skin colored.

Oh my god.

This is the best thing.

And here's me thinking that the most awesome pez dispenser I ever owned as a child was a rather disturbing ET.

finished up his face just now. Had to break out the markers for his goggles, my smallest paintbrush I had on hand wasn't very small.

He looks better in real life, but I'm still questing for my camera charger. I'm going to set his had aside untill the holidays are over. Glad you guys like him!

Still having issues with the hard hat, my clay wants to be a jerk and refuses to let me shape it like a hard hat and not soldiers helmet.
