So tonight I was in the middle of sketching a new Sniper piece when WHAT TO MY WANDERING EYES SHOULD APPEAR
but a skype message from my momma. Over the summer I'd sent off a digital portrait of Stephen Fry (done in the style of a medieval saint) to a company he works in in London. My momma said I'd gotten a letter today from the UK, and scanned it in for me. My brain is now full of fuck and absolute delight.

TLDR; I may be a while with this next piece. Ohjesus.

It was only after all the other people's comments that I realized those were laser sights on the stripping Sniper. I did think laser sight at first, but then I thought "wait, is he lying down? It must be disco lights or something". But I was wrong. And still turned on.

Your sniper is the best one I've seen. Ever. It's incredibly close to the in-game model without being creepy, and it's just all-around great.

So I was sitting in the cold today waiting for my ride, and amusing myself by reading stuff on my phone and saw the Smissmas update. Expect something soon-ish.

Also we had Moby Francke who's an artist at Valve come as a keynote speaker at our school. Unfortunately I couldn't go, but apparently he's very cool!

Didn't have a great day today (running outta food, friends couldn't hang out, it's pouring rain), but drawing Sniper cheered me up.
