> Six weeks later, Meet the Medic went live.

Does this mean they spend years for a video and just decided to scrap everything to make the finalvideo in 2 months? Anyway i totally love these outscenes and they are headcanon now.
"I could make gods." This is so medic and does funny little things to me.

Well, I don't think they immediately jump to their next "Meet The" video after releasing one. They do have other things to attend to, after all. But it sounds like they brewed over this for months and months before finally coming up with something viable and perfect.

haha, I can't help but notice that they are referencing the "Gentlemen" meme, with all of the nails in the Spy's mouth
>> No. 7289
I loved the making the medigun vid, with BLU spy being forced to help Medic.
I can imagine him being oh so bored and bitingly sarcastic while Medic tinkers, bothering him for cigarettes and porn when he isn't being used as a lamp.

"KILL ME KILL ME!"
"I'M...TRYING. YOU'RE...INVINCIBLE."

Tho question/theory about what we're seeing here when it comes to the sci-fi technobabble - all that chemical ooze when combined with blood (maybe plasma) + electricity is what makes the 'medibeam smoke'? If this IS true, where does he get all the blood/plasma for making the medigun smoke? That or guys throw out more theories I love this kind of stuff. My pseudoscience lady boners needs some stroking.

I always thought he seemed bored in the fridge during Meet the Medic. Probably figures he might as well help him. When he respawns maybe he can pass on the info! Beats just sitting there being a head.
>> No. 7305
So that meaans they could actually do some miscellaneous videos with the classes interacting eachother! It's a dream coming true!

this post made me realise that the video's werent just silent animatics, that i actually had my speakers off

Which raises the question, how did Blu Spy got his head back in time for Meet the Spy?
Unless Meet the Spy took place prior to Meet the Medic or there are actually two Blu Spies running about.
I suppose since Blu Spy Head can't be killed by bullets, he'd eventually die if disconnected from his battery. That's only assuming his "invincibility" was permanent.

>two Blu Spies running about.
...how is that ever meant to be impossible?
did you not see the herd of fucking BLU soldiers?

Respawn. That's my answer for about everything. I like respawn, it's less depressing that way.
>> No. 7323

But we've seen Valve show hoards of Soldiers before from previous trailers. (Rocket Jump Waltz?)
But so far we have not seen any other class to have more than one member.
So yes, maybe there are multiple of each class, or it really is the same Blu Spy from Meet the Spy. It really all depends on whether respawn is canon.

Not a Meet the Medic outtake, but I thought it might be of interest.

I won't lie. I turned my laptop up full blast, put this on repeat, and pranced around the house like some sort of crazy supervillian.
Valve gives us some kickass music.

Hope we get to hear those epic trumpets soon.

Well hello there, new handy ringtone.
You know i waited for you so long. But now we both shall be together. I just need to decide if you are my regulare ringtone or if i should give a person the honor to let you play everytime they call. Hrrm.

Thanks! But it seems I'm now going to be checking the beta files every time it updates to see if they release the second track. If they don't, I will cry.

I liked Scout holding his leg at the beginning. So it seems the Medigun can also repair clothes and reattach limbs just like that.

I blame you for making me love Soldier as much as I do now. Stupid sad and sexy Solly.

So it seems the medigun's first test run was made up of Scout blood, Sniper urine, Demo scrumpy, and some sandvich. Iiiiiiiiiiinteresting.

kinda makes ya second-guess in calling for him instead of seeking a first-aid kit, huh?

I just noticed Medic's chess set in front of the TV feed. GEE. I WONDER WHO HE PLAYS CHESS WITH ON THE TEAM.

For the record, I'm not sure if "MEDIC!" is in the game yet or just the beta.

Yussssss. Dat saxophone!

Okay guys, a quick related question: why can't I find start-up tracks 10 and 11 in my tf/sounds/ui folder? They must be somewhere because they play fine in-game, they're just not where the wiki tells me they should be.
>> No. 7976
>>7963
i'm fairly sure "MEDIC!" is the real title. At least, it said so on the official wiki. I've been WAITING for it, though. mfw i heard the very beginning upon starting up tf2 yesterday.
i'm totally combining parts one and two to make one song.
also, dat sax solo + hints of electric guitar.
vavle studio orchestra is earsex.

I didn't have them in that folder for ages, but I've just checked again and they're now in there. They'll probably appear at some point. That's definitely the folder they should be in.

Damn, I can't wait to hear the music they conjure up for Meet the Pyro.

I need these in mp3 format for downloading.

Like...NOW.

I can't live without them. My very life itself depends on if I have these on my mp3 player.
>> No. 7986
>>7984
Aren't they in your tf files? Alternatively, just Google 'YouTube to MP3' and there's a site that will rip the audio for you.
>> No. 7987
>>7986

I had to delete my copy and the files of the game a long time ago due to it slowing my computer down a significant amount.

I can give the youtube to mp3 site a try. I normally don't like using that site because its fucked up my mp3's quite a bit in the past.
>> No. 7989

Oh, okay. Well for "MEDIC!", MaxOfS2D put a download link in the description of the video he uploaded with the track. You can just right click the link and save it as an MP3. But for "A Little Heart to Heart" there's nothing else I can recommend.
