This is freaking delicious.
I was a bit dissappointed that it's "2½D", though. As in you can move in more than two directions, like in pretty much every classic beat-em-up game. It's fine for that kind of game, but seems like an annoyance in a shooter. I understand why they decided to go with it (partly because 4 player co-op require more room to move than true 2D gameplay would), but it still puts me off a tiny, tiny bit. Or maybe that's just my fanboy love of 2D run-and-gun classics like Metal Slug or Guardian Heroes talking.
