I am getting so sick of Sniper\Scout. The pairing itself isn't bad, but it seems like the go-to pairing for all newbs that don't know much about the fandom except what they learned off of DeviantfArt or something. Second only to Spy\Scout, of course.

I can agree with new people loving Heavy/Medic fandom, but then again that's like the most canon, not really, Couple in the whole game so even people who have never played the game will love them.

I think that Sniper/Scout is My 3rd favorite pair when it comes down to it all.

As a very oldfag, I can say this is true for the most part. Probably explains why our first TF2Chan baby boom mostly shipped various combinations of Sniper/Spy/Scout, because they're the most stereotypically bishie-able. Medic gets part of this too because he's kind of the overlap between the skinnier, "bishie"-er classes and the bara ones, which probably explains the popularity of Medic/Scout. Indeed, the more animu-like, an artist's style, the more likely it is that their favorite classes consist of the above four.

This kind of fangirl attitude is why I can't really enjoy bottom Scout fic/art anymore, regardless of how good it is. Sage for meta/possible whining.

I try to help alleviate the drought whenever I can! ...that is to say, I've drawn a couple pictures with awesome, way-underappreciated Demoman in them. My stuff from a few months ago isn't on the chan anymore after that explosion, but it's at my y! gallery. Not gonna' clog the chan up by reposting a bunch of crap at once.

Same person from 2303 here. I was surprised to see how this got attention so fast considering it'd been on the second page for a few days and I was sure to sage it. Guess that's just the way the internet rolls.

Thanks to all those that didn't flame despite my immature ragespazzing, but let me just reiterate that I do NOT hate Sniper/Scout. It's been done well before, and in a game like this, all pairings can make sense. It's just that I lie variety - not to mention how a lot of fans tend to rape their personalities a lot of the time. It just doesn't seem to fit the Chan's way of doing things.

I'm sorry for the newbie-hate, too. I'm actually pretty okay with a lot of them - it's just stuff like this that gets my goat.

I'll end by saying that I was planning a Solly/Demo/Engie threeway for a while in /afanfic/. Don't know when I'll get around to doing it, but it seems like I'll be a terrible person if I deprive the world of it at this point.

I can see the Solly/Engie/Demo thing working if done right. But that's because I am a big Helmet Party person.

I also agree with that there does need to be more Demoman in the Adult Fanart. I think that Solly and Demo make better Bros then lovers to be honest, but it would be nice to just see ANYTHING WITH DEMO!

Also I have always loved Top Scout/Bottom Sniper Better when It came down to Scout/Sniper. It is because I can't see Scout being a person that would ever want to be a bottom. I guess that's is why I loved Humon's work the most, even though I would save any picture for the most part.

I like Medic and Demo personally. They're a funny lookin' bunch and Scout's a bit too much of a scrappy twink for my likin's. He's not really a bishie at all, just scrawny.

I actually like Spy/Scout, no idea why. I'm not into the whole bishie thing either and I've been playing tf2 for over 2 years now.

But I do like Sniper/Engie. I haven't seen much work for that.
