My love for Madame Dixie have only grown stronger since the day I first set eyes on her, so the replacement of her as my desktop background does not have anything to do with waning feelings for her, but instead it is a milestone, marking the gradual maturation of our relationship. I no longer feel the need to reassure my feelings for her by keeping her as my background any longer, so I'm moving on.


This has always been a favorite of mine, and I think I've even had it as a desktop before. I just find it so beautiful and striking and touching.
