Now before you shut me down and say this is stupid, I should explain myself a bit and then explain what I'm doing.

My friends and I love the TF2 universe. We have fun in game and out, and often role play with such Tf2 characters. We would come up with our own ideas about each characters, in particular the Spy. Not much is known about him so it's left up to your imagination. We deemed that Spy is rather professional and seems to have a variety of gadgets that any normal person trying to be a spy would never get.

So, he had to have some formal training, right?

Enter in the Spy school we've deemed The Academy. There would be different classes of spies each with there own unique field ( after all no two spies are alike.)Secretly, I began work on a spy RGP as a guilty pleasure. Why? Because it sounded cool in my head.

Very recently my friends found out about this. They loved the idea and what I had already. They then posed a challenge to me to create a Spy themed RPG Table Top game.

Well, challenge accepted!

I'm currently in the works of a Spy Themed RPG. It would play like a DnD campaign and your only limits are your imagination. The customizations and rules will be very user friendly. Plus once it is released I will more than gladly help anyone.

I place this here because this IS a work-in-progress. I really hope this doesn't sound stupid and people are willing to give this a try before they shoot it down. And trust me, putting this on the chan was no easy thing as I'm terrified of the responses I will get.

I am throwing this out there to anyone to see what they would think and if they are willing to give this a go. Also, if you have ideas, I will more than gladly listen! Your idea could be featured in it, along with credit to you!

What will currently be featured:

Classes: The current classes are...
Aggro Spy-A soldier equivalent class that focuses on tanking and using heavy weapons.
FemFatals/Heartbreakers- A gender specific class that focuses on Charisma and slight dexterity.
Spy Engineer- A class that focuses on "Pet" machines to do their bidding. Also can make weapons/gadgets and hack.
Ghost Spy- A class that focuses on stealth and cloaking to achieve their goals.
Battle Spy- A class that focuses on weapon proficiency and variety of different style of combat. A good all-around class if you don't know which class to choose. Has a special ability to turn anything into a weapon.
Assassin- A class that focuses on stealth, combat proficiency, killing and the ability to craft their own weapons. A great solo-class but hard to master.
Demolitions Spy- A class that focuses on the art of explosions and demolitions to achieve their means. Can create their own bombs/ammunition.
Masqueraders- A class that focuses on disguises and Charisma. Is the only class that can don a disguise without the fear of sinking into Character. Is also the only class that dose not need "lie" checks when disguised and speaking to a character below their current level.
Medispies- a class that focuses on endurance and healing. Their critical hit rate is increased due to medical knowledge and is the only class that can heal without negative effects on serious wounds.

Races-Races are turned into Nationalities in this game. The nationalities include American, Russian, German, Native American, Italian, English/Scottish/Irish, French, Egyptian/Greek, Australian. Each have their own pros and cons. Those will be listed later as I'm still working those out. Possibly looking to add two more.

Religion- What has religion done for you? Well in this RPG, you get special stats for your religion! There are only six religions at the moment Christan, Judaism, Buddhism, Wicca, Agnostic, and Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Working on stats and attributes for them. Might think about scrapping this idea if people think I should.

Astrological Signs- Using the European Zodiac of 12 signs, you will choose your sign to give you a buff or special ability. Working on Attributes for each.

Extensive weapons- Do you want flaming swords? You can have them! Throwing knives? You got it! A fork? Hell yes! Weapons are only limited to your imagination.

Unarmed Fighting Styles- You can choose your fighting style! Each with it's own pros and cons! Consider this a sub class if any and you can have more than one depending on your class! Currently have Karate, Kick Boxing, Ninjitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Capoeira, Tai Chi, CQC and Gunkata. Will work on stats for each.

Familiar TF2 Weapons- Ever wondered what a spy would do with Soldier's rocket launcher? Well now you can! TF2 items will integrate with the RPG, since it is based off of the TF2 universe. Each weapon will be classified as a "Specialty Class weapon" or special drops and will receive it's own pros and cons.

Extensive Customization- From your armor to your weapons, to your gadgets to your ammunition, you are the boss as to what your character has! There are many different ways to customize, making your class the best things since sliced bread, or the hottest thing to walk on the earth.

That's all I have so far. I'm currently working on the Rules and Character sheets. If you want to help, contact me on Steam. Atrum_Lupus is what I go by, and I would be grateful for anything. Also, if you have any idea, please post them! My only thing I will say now is, I really have no other ideas for classes so I wont be adding any other classes. I will listen to ideas for that class, (like maybe making up a different name or giving them a special skill) but there will be no other classes than the 9. ( Just like TF2!)There is a 10th class, but that's the "Dungeon Master".

Thanks for listening if you go this far. And I do hope to see people liking this. If people do, I may try to build a strict TF2 table top rpg. Thanks again!
