The only that's even remotely acceptable is the Engineer, and even then, she's exchanged tool-carrying capability for a cutesy little tool belt.

What about the screams Pyro makes when they die, and the blood that comes out? The robots in that universe aren't realistic enough yet to do that. And I've never once seen gears come out of Pyro, not even in sillygibs mode.

(Yes I am aware medic is a doctor, not a nurse. There were not a lot of female doctors at the time though, so I think she would either wear men's clothing or a nurse's uniform)

It's actually based off the artwork for the tf2 beta, note that scout is carrying an SMG and many of the classes have brassards instead of having the emblems directly on their sleeves (also spy is wearing the class emblem, something cut from the final game)
anyways one of my biggest pet peeves with tf2 genderbening is when people make the fem mercs skinny and waifish (especially heavy. she would be a big scary russian lady) when honestly the only merc who isn't that muscular is spy

I think the proportions were intentional. If you look at the artist's other genderbends, they all have a more gritty, realistic, and modern design compared to the actual mercs. They're slimmed down and more youthful, their silhouettes aren't exaggerated. It's not necessarily bad, just an artistic choice, but I get what you mean. It makes the character look less like Soldier.

While I agree Fem Solly would be more muscular, I don't think she'd have a buzz cut. Solly is super into AMERICA and AMERICAN VALUES so she'd have something slightly more feminine but still practical. A better fit would be what Peggy Carter wears and how women in WW2 styled themselves. And she'd wear lipstick made from the BLOOD OF COMMIES
