So yeah, redlines, drawing style advice, anything. This just doesn't want to look halfway decent.

Hopefully this helps. i think you just need to study anatomy more. You're proportions are just odd...
I hope the picture speaks for itself. If you need me to explain more I can. (I'm sorry, I'm just really tired and lazy.)

You helped so much I don't even. How would you suggest studing anatomy. Because I really ried here and it obviously sucked balls.

Well... The way I study is I started for the bones and studied them and then studied the muscles and how they more how far they more and then hopefully if I'm done that stage I can put the skin all it all and it'll look human.
But some teachers I have say that's looking way too deeply in anatomy (remembering all the bones and what not).

For you I would suggest going to the Sticky topic here on /Workshop/. It's been very helpful to me and I bet it'll help you out a whole lot to.

Have another redline.
(The Apple was me being stupid, don't worry.)

Head was just too big. So I resize it to fit the body.

So I took a look at some of the tutorials in the sticky. Am I doing any better?

Better than those previous posts at least, definitely. All I can tell you is PRACTICE. Practice like mad, don't care if it doesn't come out like you want at first, just look at the reference again, draw more, practice. It's the only true way to get better and you can do it!

Yeah, this isn't much better..

from your current skill level, you may need to tone down the detail and work more with shapes and form.

Also, I would not work on lined paper. It's fine for doodling on during class, but not very good for presentation.

Well, printer papaer is scarce and when I have it I'm too afraid of ruining it with a bad drawing or something or am just not interested in drawing at the moment. Any-who, new drawing, critic the shit out of this one please, I can't figure out what's wrong with the arms here.
Sorry for quality.

A big sheaf of printer paper is only a few dollars. While you're at it, I would also suggest investing in a scanner (or just using the scanners at your local library/college) and a drawing tablet.

Surely you can't except us to invest time writing a meaningful critique if you don't even want to expend even the tiniest effort presenting your art to us. Nothing personal, just saying no one wants to crit a badly photographed blob.

Well it took a long time but I finally found someone with a useable scanner. It's the same picture but no longer quite the disrespect to the human senses.

You should still get yourself a cheap stash of printer paper. It's a lot better to use!

The body proportions are okay, but the arms look like rubber. Look how arms bend and shape in the various positions they can pull.

The face is alright and so is her torso. I agree with Perry in saying that her limbs need work. Her feet are so tiny and her legs feel like they're stubby, but that may or may not be the skirt's fault.

Also, when I look at her arms, the forearms don't quite line up with the upper arms. It's like they're not even connected. The problem happens right at the end of the sleeves, which tells me you drew the sleeves, stopped, and then drew the arms.

As a suggestion, I would say that when you draw, draw your subject without clothing first, to make sure their body is all alligned, and then draw the clothes on top. That would fix the arms (along with anatomy practise) and would also help the legs look less stumpy.

Does that make sense or am I just rambling?
