Hmm for some reason the thumbnail made me think of Gumby...

Anyway her legs seem too straight and in a standing position to match the more "crouched" stance of her top half. It looks like you tried foreshortening a leg but it's really not enough, I think you need to bend her knees further.

originally, i did have her legs bent more, but they looked even more awkward than they do now o_o and i changed it to this. now that you mention it...i really should've just left them bent. it probably looked better. LOL. thanks for the crit, though!

omg this helps SO MUCH, you have no idea. doesn't matter what it looks like; the leg positioning helped me figure out how to make it suck...a bit less. LOL.

Something like this. I dunno. I tried.

that helps much, too! i needed a good re-positioning.
can't believe i'm actually receiving crit. i'm probably gonna redo the whole drawing based on these, even though it was just a sketch.

The leg and arm shapes could use a lot of work, as well as the head shape and facial features. I suggest you brush up on some anatomy textbooks and get a feel for the way the muscles are set.

i hate to admit it, but you're right. i should've sketched out an anatomical pose first, before adding any details like clothes. it's a mistake i too oft make.

I definitely see a HUGE improvement. There are still some minor flaws (The earpiece looks 2-d and her eye is very large, though that could just be style), but overall, it's very good.

thanks very much, i appreciate it! and i apologize for her eyes, my style is in an awkward stage right now between animu and semi-realism and i'm working on it to get it to not look disproportionate.

I know what you're talking about - been there myself as well. I use to draw all anime but TF2 is making me appreciate a more realistic style. The change in eye size is one of the most striking difference between the two, imo.
And exactly - keep working at it. You'll get it in no time.
