Hey guys, I need some help figuring out what design to settle on for Femheavy. What do you all think?

Here is a more refined design. (In both colors ooooooh)

Movement sequence for set-up and firing of her primary weapon.

Prepare for a wall of text, haha.

I did this as a consistency exercise and to figure out each little piece of my FemHeavy’s costume. I’m working out how natural each feature feels and trying to settle on what degree of hip & thigh exaggeration looks good and is appropriate for the character.

Figured I’d share, haha. I might go back over it digitally so that each part makes sense, sorry for the sketchiness in some parts.

1. Nude | 2. Underwear | 3. Putting on long sleeved undershirt | 4. Long sleeved undershirt + underwear | 5. Putting on the pants | 6. Unbuttoned overshirt | 7. Fastening the pants to the shirt using side clasps (eventually hidden under back brace) | 8. Rolling up the sleeves of the overshirt | 9. Getting bobby pins (this one is out of sequence, should be two later but I forgot to draw the backbrace, haha) | 10. Fastening the back brace | 11. Putting on the arm guards | 12. Pulling back the bangs with bobby pins | 13. Tying the bandana | 14. Putting on the hand gloves

I like the progression on putting on the clothes. I think it looks nice and natural.
Also, nice design on the Hoovy, nothing's too out there, but it could stand to feel more like Hoovy.

That aside, I'd like to see a more final version of her weapon. I'm trying hard to imagine what it looks like...Sort of like, a big gun with a tripod? It's an interesting concept, but wouldn't that make her incredibly slow in battle? MaleHoovy is quite slow, but he can pick up his gun and go or strafe right and left if the need arises.

From a gameply perspective, it seems like it would be difficult to play with because her mobility would be severely hampered. But as an artistic thing, I quite like it. Or maybe I'm just talking outta my ass, in which case, feel free to ignore!

Thanks! I am trying to get a bit more of heavy into her design. I wanted to invert heavy's stature giving her thicker legs rather than thick arms. I'm experimenting with the balance so I hope I settle on something amenable.

It is a gun with a tripod. Based mostly off of an anti-materiel rifle used by the Finnish Army during WWII ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lahti_L-39 ) I've augmented it to allow it to be used while kneeling rather than while laying down. In battle she would have a short set-up/tear-down sequence wherein she would be unable to move but she would have a slightly higher move speed. I'm still tweaking her design a bit and am also designing a primary unlock that would act more like a mortar.

I'm refining some of the sketches to help me out with the color balance, I hope you enjoy them.

I do like the design and clothing for Hoovy. It seems professional and very cool. I also like the idea for a bottom heavy Hoovy. Which would mean a bit more emphasis on her curves, specially round her hips.
My only teeny tiny crit would be to make sure her shoulders aren't too square. But then again it could be because of the clothes in this pic.
