Actually, assuming you're going to make one of the same size, you're going to be paying like $120 bucks for grocery-store priced wine, assuming a average of $7/bottle, unless you get really cheap bum wine/two buck chuck.
So it's a bargain if you want it for folk art and aren't a drinker I suppose, Of course you could probably get the same stuff for free by going to a recycling center to get empty SKYY/wine bottles and scrap rebar.
