Your friendly neighborhood Knubs here, making a thread since Google+ and Facebook have their own (I'm considering Hybrid's Google+ group-- once I figure out how it works, since I'm social media-tarded). This also isn't really appropriate for the Contacts thread, since those are geared toward one-on-one roleplays.

SO! I was talking with Noisy one day and realized while one-on-one roleplay is all well and good (and what I spend most of my time doing), sometimes it's just fun to derp around in a group setting. Therefore I'm extending an invitation to any TF2-rpers who have AIM to join a casual roleplaying group for when they feel a similar urge.

You can play canons or genderbends or OCS (just don't go ridiculous on us), whatever you like! I personally play canons and would prefer that be the norm for the chatroom, but again it doesn't really matter. Also, feel like playing Engineer one day and Pyro another? That's fine too! You don't have to be a set character for this.

We can get together some days with a serious plot, or just keep it casual with slice-o-life-around-the-base things or even have holiday-themed parties when the time is right. Even though Halloween is passed, I'd love to get a bunch of characters together and have a costume party or something similar.

Script style, novel style, you just do what feels comfortable. If we all feel up to upping the quality to certain standards (when plots are going), we'll discuss all of that in the room while brainstorming.

Also, the rules are generally obvious. Expect their to be foul language and violence and racial stereotypes! Please be +18 if you care to have any part in pairings play (m/f, m/m, f/f, whatevs). If you want to get jiggy with someone else's character, take it to a one-on-one window! If you want to kill somebody like an annoying Scout? Kindly ask the nice fella or lil' lady who plays said character first.

I'm one of the mods over at the game and we have a growing Team Fortress 2 cast. Currently we have:

Fem!RED Pyro
RED Sniper
BLU Sniper
Miss Pauling

There is also a RED Spy apping.

As for those interested in RPing a TF2 character, we accept headcanons and Canon OCs. We also except duplicates, this means that there can be more then one RED/BLU of the same class because headcanons vary. Genderbends are welcome as well as long as they are believable and able to fit into the story.

I'm trying to revive my old TF2 RP. http://swampratcorp.proboards.com is where it's at, with rules and boards galore. I need to get back into the swing of things and I reckon I might as well take apps and ideas while I'm at it. Currently I am the only moderatoradmin but as time goes on I will mod people who have joined.

Now, I don't know how many of you are in the Homestuck fandom, but have you heard of Trollmegle?

It's basically a version of Omegle specifically for the use of Homestuck roleplaying. It looks pretty neat and functions marginally well.

HOWEVER THIS IS NOT ABOUT HOMESTUCK.

I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if we had a TF2-specific Omegle? And then I realised that I have no way to fund such a thing.

So I am just casually throwing this out there in case anyone sees, because don't you think this could catch on?

Group rp is nonexistant but 1 on 1 rp can still be found. And shipping is ENTIRELY irrelevant here, so there's zero worry about that. There are still relationships and such but they aren't on heavy emphasis and are thoroughly discouraged from being the entire basis of a character.

-Who are you guys?
We're a private group of friends that managed to get together for RP and TF2 playing. We call ourselves Maggotry.
-Can I join?
We're private and that means we're very picky about who joins. At the moment we're not looking to add any new members. Feel free to chat with us though! We are friendly.
-Where do you guys RP?
Mostly over Steam and AIM. We don't post many logs but check here, /fanfiction/ and /afanfiction/, y gallery and deviantart, and perhaps even tumblr for a few and/or our fics.

I'll start off with some wtf doodles I did yesterday during a livestream. Admittedly it actually has some TF2 RP from Tegaki stuff in it too but whatever. They're my buddies.

It all started when I couldn't be bothered to draw Hank's arm properly and he got called a charger. So... other characters ended up being other infected and even survivors. Heck yea, cross over.

Hey, we've been looking around for a place to post this for a while... so here we go!

Y'ello, I'm Jejune (With Fashionist), and we're members of Pandora, a panfandom roleplay with a growing number of TF2 characters... well... three. The RED Medic, Sniper, and Scout. The point is though... we're looking for more. (As an added note, our administrators are currently iffy about the whole two teams having what seems to be the same characters, just wearing different colored clothes. So even if you don't want to join, feel free to come around and help us convince them that the two teams ARE comprised of different people, no matter the cosmetic similarities... and some personality ones.)


To give you guys some more information on the roleplay, as said, we're panfandom, so there's a wide variety of characters to be found here. Our plot is based upon Greek mythology, using the idea that various fictional characters have been dragged into Pandora's Box, and are now stuck here with no means of escape.

Okay. I'm writing a TF2 fanfic that I'm not really going to share anywhere, but despite this fact I want to ask about one of my ideas.

For the record, this fanfic is devoid of the original cast of TF2. The entirety of both teams is comprised of OCs belonging to myself and my roleplay partners. Only two of the characters belong to me specifically, and I want some opinions on the one I'm about to introduce.

The character in question is a female Scout on the BLU team. She would be the only female character in the story, but I don't intend for there to be sex or even romance, neither do I intend to harp upon her gender. She's almost more of a boy than she is a girl.

However, I don't want to see her to stick out too much characteristically. I intend for her to wind up with RED (on which the story focuses) after being captured during a recon mission and befriending their Pyro, due to whom she stays. The first thing I was concerned about was that having her captured and imprisoned would "chick-ify" her too much.

Secondly, she's based off another one of my characters from an entirely different (original) universe, wherein she functions very well as a character. What worries me is that the intensity/quirks attached to her character will make her seem sue-ish in the TF2 universe. She is a teenager (nineteen to be exact). She's also one of those "weird" characters who spends a lot of time in her own head and exhibits strange behaviours such as collecting dead rodents and birds to load them with petty explosives such as homebrew firecrackers made from cap gun pellets or chemicals or scrounging around in the garbage for things she considers useful. She makes innumerable shitty jokes and puns, if only to herself.

On the other hand, I have toned her down quite a bit. Instead of being irritatingly talkative, the TF2 version of her is intended to be largely very quiet, only speaking to Pyro for the most part. Instead of being deliberately outlandish she makes a conscious attempt to blend in. She is ashamed of the fact that she's female because she's surrounded by men and tries to downplay
