Finaly got up the nerves to make my own art thread

i'm a long time lurker and i love the site. i finally decided to draw something and put it on here. i welcome criticism and any tips you want to give me.

I'll be posting things I'm working on here, but I would really appreciate if anyone wants a redline, please also post in this thread.

I love to draw and do my best to help others out along the way. I'm afraid I'm not good at actually helping, and I need some serious practice.

I think Workshop is a great opportunity to get better at drawing, communicate ideas with others and pass that knowledge on.

When you post please tell me:
1. What your goal is in drawing that particular picture (what's the most important thing you want the picture to convey).
2. One thing that I can give you an in-depth instruction on regarding the picture.

I will do my best to critique and get back to you! Please help me get better at helping others.

a little adventure time crossover

This is my first time posting here. Oman. I'm... nervous.

Anyway, this is a WIP (inspired/based on this song, in case anyone gives two fucks: http://flavorwire.com/248537/magnetic-fields-andrew-in-dra).

As I'm sure you can all tell, I have a pretty hard time drawing glasses. I was wondering if anyone has any advice/tips on how to improve?

Also, not sure I'll be able to fix 'em in this picture... Since the layers have become a clusterfuck, but... There's always next time.
